The city of Dallas, as busy and hectic life may be, does understand the value of peace and serenity. A hunk of property Downtown has been developed for those seeking any spiritual reflections and quiet time in the lap of faith. The Thanks-Giving Square is a private park and is overseen by the Thank-Giving Foundation. Apart from the famed interdenominational Chapel of Thanks-Giving, the park also has a Wall of Praise, a meditation garden, the Bell Tower and the Circle of Giving. Although entry as such is free, a $2 donation is expected to be made as a courtesy.

  • We arrived at about 11 in the morning, after a 15 minute search for parking. The first thing you see is a large golden circle, with some quotes around it, from world leaders, etc. This is a great spot for photos, so make sure to take some good ones here! You can then walk the grounds, where there are some water features, and then a church, with a very beatuifully decorated stained glass roof. Here you can really see many of the buildings in downtown, and you can get a great reflection photo on the glass building just next to the area. All in all, it is an amazing place to walk through and get a few good photos.

  • A beautiful place to stop and reflect. The stained glass chapel is incredibly beautiful. The monument is in need of some TLC by the city, but overall a unique and lovely park.

  • Beautiful public area with a Thanksgiving theme. Designed to offer meditative space in the center of the city of Dallas, Tx. But also has built everything a large group meeting requires.

  • Beautiful, clear cold day for Tuba Christmas in Thanksgiving Square this Christmas Eve! It's an annual tradition for us, rain or shine. Highly recommended!

  • Beautiful place. Very peaceful place in the heart of Dowtown Dallas. The little chapel is super beautiful and peaceful
