Wow! I travel. A LOT! When you stay in 50+ different hotels a year you get so tired and bored of the same ol' hotel room. They're all the same after a while. The Alpine is a rare gem. Both for the traveling family road trips or traveling professionals, like me. Clean, somewhat updated rooms, in a quaint setting. Motel-style parking in front of your room. Truly awesome city scenery of South SF and Cow Palace. Comfy beds. Seperate spare "kids" room, with it's own door...privacy! Overall great place. Very affordable rates. And very professional and cordial staff. Quiet neighborhood.
I've stayed here on numerous occasions and the entire staff is always accommodating. The rooms are always clean. Nice hidden gem in the Bay!
Next time in SanFran i will stay again in this hotel, small place in the middle of the hills, close to Downtown. Perfect if you brought your car because of the free parking. Service is very good, nice coffee machine at the main offc
Nice rooms with good service but their breakfast is limited. Their wifi is terrible. Doesn't even load a single picture
Breakfast was a joke. They gave us a box containing a boiled egg, yogurt, and an apple. They said they were out of a donut. I booked a room with 2 queen beds. There were 2 rooms having 1 bed each. But air conditioning was only in 1 room. The floor was wooden, no carpets. Room was very cold. The bathroom was tiny. The only good thing was proximity to SFO and parking.
