A beautiful beach in the city of Dalyan with a combination of salty water and fresh water of either side. The uniqueness of the Iztuzu beach is that it has salty sea water on one side and a fresh water lake on the other. The Caretta Carettas is the area where the turtles breed. The beach has shower and facilities for changing clothes. There are plenty of eat outs here as well. Sit back relax enjoy some great food and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere Iztuzu offers.

  • Beautiful beach with fresh water one side and Mediterranean sea the other. Popular tourist place. We went there as part of a turtle beach tour/mud bath. So only had a hour here. Would have liked longer there.

  • Lovely very long beach. Dalyan is one of the jewels of the world. River meets the sea and the beach is just on the intersection. Breath taking views.

  • A lovely beach that can be reached by many boats including the public boat which takes about an hour and costs a few euros. The beach is home to the turtles at night and is very clean. There is a café that serves food and drink.

  • Man made beach but bueatiful location with showers. toilets and you can get somthing to eat and drink and hopefully you will see some turtles. As they breed in September

  • It is a natural wonder located in between the sea and the river. On one side of the beach there is salty water on the other side river water where you can see caretta carettas and feed them in day time. It s forbidden to be there between 8 p.m to 8 a.m. since turtles come to lay their eggs.
