In the small village of Dabhel, lies this very important temple that attracts thousands of devotees from all over the country every year for the renowned 'Gangaji Fair'. The Somnath Mahadev Temple resembles the world-famous Somnath Temple in Gujarat. The glass interiors is what makes this temple so unique, despite being small in size. Very Beautiful designing of mirror inside temple... Really unique.... 🕉 नमः शिवाय
Good Shiva temple with beautiful glass interior design. A lot of peace is there. Small vendors are here for poojan samgri etc. Photography is prohibited inside the temple.
It's spiritual place...
People visiting Daman must pay their homages and austerities to Lord Shiva in this beautiful and calm temple. The interior of the temple is beautifully decorated with colored glass pieces much like that of the Sheesh Mahal in Jaipur. The temple shrine beholds a beautiful Shiva Lingam guarded by a marble statue of Lord Nandi. You can get flowers and prasadam to offer to the main deity from the nearby stalls. Photography inside the temple is prohibited.
