East Point Reserve, Darwin Reviews
Great place for families. There is a nice playground and it is well maintained. Coffees and bean bags are also available. Please be aware of the tide if you are near the water. Here it comes faster than normal places. There is a lake as well and saw some local children swimming happily. Do not forget visiting the lookout. Enjoy :)
The beach was ok with very good facilities and a paved exercise path. There were nature walks and a small man made lake, with beaches, that is made for swimming as the sea is too dangerous due to the presence of crocs. Further up the military museum is excellent and is a must see to get a true perspective of the Japanese attacks on Darwin. I found it very emotive.
Enchanting! Such a special place. The walk to the mangrove forest. I've never been able to walk on the ocean inside a forest before. So lovely.
Shady spots for picnic, private, best beach & ocean views in Darwin.
Great spot with the park and lake. No shade sails at the moment after cyclone. Make sure you get out before sundown, midgees everywhere.
