This is a beautiful park right at the heart of the city where you can come with your kids to give them some extra happy hours. There are a lot of rides and structures here to keep them engaged. You will be amazed at the beautiful trail in the park across the entire perimeter, where you can walk in the evening. There are 6 fields in the park to be used for a lot of functions and concerts. You can even come here for a picnic. There is a special area where you can play basketball and other games.

Northeast Regional Park, Polk County Reviews & Ratings
Love Love LOVE this dog park! We take our boys there all the time and it's so well maintained. There is a under 25 pound side and a big dog side. The locals that visit are so respectful and such a fun bunch. It's a wonderful area for the dogs to run free with so much space. Additionally there is a walking trail along the lake and through the park which makes for a good workout for both the pups and us! Definitely worth visiting!
This is a great park! We hit up the playground and my 3 year old had a blast. There are enough shady areas that she made it through an hour in some HEAT! Normally we make it 20-30minutes. The bathrooms are very clean. It has a beautiful view, lots of equipment, and lots of picnic tables/benches for sitting.
I brought my 2 little dogs here and it is indeed a great place. The regular dogs/parents were really welcoming! Lots of room to run for big and small dogs!
Amazing park. Offers very good structure. The soccer fields are great. There is a kids play area with many options. There are also spaces for barbecues and private events.
Great park, beautiful nature, great for walking or running, has a fantastic playground, many sports fields. Wish there more organized things to do for the locals, but hey, park is fantastic. Lake access as well
