This is a small but enchanting garden located right near Daylesford Railway station. It was established in 1863 and was built on an extinct volcano. It’s a beautiful place for a stroll with family and friends. The Memorial Tower offers a brilliant landscape view of Daylesford. The garden itself is home to lot of tress which are more than 100 years old. Every season the garden greets the visitors by changing colours like a chameleon. There’s also a café here for refreshments.

  • You can't go to Daylesford and not go to this park. The lookout tower is a must visit. The view is interesting but a little hard to see over the trees as they have continued to grow. Toilets and good parking available. Make sure you don't hit your head on the concrete just before coming out at the tip of the tower. It hurts like.....

  • Pretty hard to have a number 1 favourite place but I love it here. The feeling I get here is always very tranquil with a great view of Daylesford. Wonderful trees and flowers that is quite diverse and makes for a relaxing stroll.

  • Very nice gardens that are well maintained. The colours of the plants this time of year was beautiful. We had lunch at the restaurant. The food and service was good.

  • Great and relax garden for picnic. Agreed with one local guide there is not much sign or direction guide. I am lucky to snap the garden map at the entrance. So suggest first time visitors to do same.

  • Make sure you spend some time here on your visit to Daylesford. Superb old botanic garden
