Housed in a former 1910 Merchants Bank building, the Halifax Historical Museum is spread across two stories and has on display artefacts pertaining to the history of the greater Daytona Beach area, also known as Halifax Country. With artefacts dating back to 5,000 B.C, you will find that the exhibition includes hand-painted murals depicting area scenes, Beaux Arts styling of stained glass windows and photographs related to Beach/road auto racing.
