Converted into a museum, the house is filled with fascinating artefacts and photos of famous visitors and U.S. presidents. Situated on the scenic grounds of Bethune-Cookman University, the facility offers free guided tours.
Trivia: Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune was known as “First Lady of Negro America”. She rose from being the daughter of enslaved parents to founding a fantastic university. She also served as a four time presidential advisor.
