  • A shabby relic of the socialist era. A lot of a bit strange people are used to hang around here. However, there are plans to buldoze the current station building and build a new one that will be combined with the bus station. So if you like socialist realism, be quick to see it, before it's too late ;)

  • The worst thing in ALL Hungarian railway stations (including Budapest) is the dirty WC. It's a shame of the country. The rest things are good for me

  • I was lucky once to be served by someone who knows English, but usually you'll find yourself trying to explain with your hands or so. ***Come with a printed trip plan***

  • Hungary paplik is very good

  • Trains are always on time. From here, you can get a train to Romania or even Ukraine.
