Debrecen Zoo And Amusement Park Reviews & Ratings

  • I enjoyed a lot this amusement park. The ticketing system was unusual but this amusement park has a real retro style. Perhaps of 60's or 70's. Unique in Europe that is for sure and perhaps ...worldwide? Must see specially if you like retro stuffs and why not even if you do not. The small train was lot fun too. Adults we loved it and kids too. Haven't had the chance to see the zoo but will go back one day and definitely will visit it too. I highly recommend it!

  • A small zoo which has all the 'popular' animals (lions, tigers, giraffes etc) along with some unique ones: local pigeons, white peafowl and Minnesotan minipigs, the latter you can even buy. The amusement park is only suitable for little kids but even adults can enjoy the train ride that starts from the edge of the amusement park and takes you through a wooded area, where you can spot some deers. There's a great burger place between the amusement park and the zoo where you can sit outside.

  • Not the bigest and not the smallest zoo, but surely one of the most beautiful. You can go with your kid(s) and there is an area where they can play and feed the animals (donkeys, lambs, goats) with special food. From time to time, there is a program you can watch: at the penguins, at the monkeys, at the lemurs. A nice place to walk and relax.

  • Nice little zoo, lots for the kids to do. Especially loved the petting area, the animals were very friendly.

  • Quite nice ZOO, but some animals look desperate (gepard, tiger, etc.) and they should have bigger space to have at least better life under the circumstances. Beware of the Machine for animal food, it just took money and did not give any food. We tried to ask the stuff but they said they have nothing to do with it. Lunapark have carousels for small kids, nothing for adults but that is fine, we came for the ZOO anyway.
