Hillsborough Park, Sheffield Reviews
Small venue for a festival. Could see the stage and never felt overcrowded. Good music. Lots of varied good food places. Some clothes stalls which were great for hats sunglasses cold weather or hot weather gear. I bought a sundress as I went and got too hot in my jeans. Transport from the centre was easy or a 40 min easy straight walk. Getting back to the centre was easy. A good well organised event
Really enjoyed my visit, a big ground and lovely play area for the kids. There is pond with ducks for those who like to feed them. Plenty of parking (50p an hour, bring exact change) which is a great bonus!! However it would have been nice if there was a cafe where you can buy drinks and food as there is nothing nearby and you have to bring your own. On the positive side an ice cream van visited for a while!!
Great park. Took my granddaughter to a fair there today. Really good took our dog too. This park is really good for kids and pets. Nice pond and play area.
This is a real park. It has real grass, real trees and even a duck pond (but there's no fishing allowed). It also has a very 'parky' feel about it. As far as parks go. It really hits the mark and pulls out all the stops. Spectacular.
A really nice, well kept park. There is plenty of grass space & it is a pleasant place to take a walk. If you have children there is a decent park, there is also Tennis & Basketball Courts (the Basketball court doubles as a football pitch). I wouldn't bother parking in the car park as you have to pay so aim for Middlewood Road and park on any of the residential roads off it. Most of them are free to park and it is then a 2 minute walk.
