  • Based in the middle of Hillsborough, right next to the football ground, this park manages to still be a little tranquil space. The lake is lovely with lots of ducks and geese to be fed and there are more than a few nice trees to read under on a sunny day. The big recreation ground also pulls in a lot of events over the summer so there is normally something new to do at the weekend!

  • A great place for a stroll round or while away a few moments by the lake. A good place for a 4000 step walk, even when it's raining as the paths stay nice and clean. Walked garden is a must-see attraction.

  • It is simple yet effective. It is amazing for walking dogs or just normally and Has a play area where kids can relax and just play. There's a clear area near the entrance where events sometimes take place. Most of the time there is a fair but recently the friends fest was hosted there which I attended was great. They also have a pond where you can fish and feed the ducks. my reason for giving them only 4 stars is the fact that there isn't a toilet or cafe on site but when events are on there is usually porta-pottys. Across the road there are cafes which are nice.

  • Lovely big open space. play area for the little ones. A large climbing frame for the older kids. Duck pond with plenty of friendly birds. Tennis courts/ basket ball. Cycle friendly. Close to shops and cafes. 50p per hour for the car park which I guess goes towards the up keep of the park which is very well maintained.

  • Love Hillsborough Park brought up around here bring my kids here when I can, great for picnics and a kickabout. The park is great for big and small kids.
