About Robber's Cave, Dehradun
Robber’s Cave is a cave formation located a few kilometres away from the centre of Dehradun. It is locally known as Guchhupani. The interiors of the cave are so beautifully designed that it is hard to believe that is a naturally formed structure. It derives its name from the story that says that the robbers used this place as their hideout to escape from the British. The cave is a long, narrow structure and is divided into two portions. The cave boasts of the highest waterfall of the country. The central part of the cave is like a fort wall structure that is almost completely broken now, most probably due to the forces of water. It is an ideal picnic spot for all the tourists. The best feature is the surprising flow of the river. The river actually flows underground and cannot be seen, but once you go along a little more you will again spot the river flowing. The cave is guarded by hills all over as you walk a little more.

Robber's Cave, Dehradun Reviews
Really nice place to hang out with friends Any nature or adventure lover must visit this place. The walk in water is amazing... Moreover there are places where one has to climb rocks to proceed, which adds to the adventure and thrill. There are vendors that supply slippers on loan and locker facility at cheap prices. Highly recommend.
An awesome place. Walking through the stream inside the cave was indeed a good experience. Feel the natural breeze and keep walking till you reach the dead end. Water is knee deep and the rocks a bit slippery at the end point so be careful. But you won't miss anything by not touching the dead end. For sure, you will return refreshed. If you feel you reached the dead end too soon, climb up the rocks and sit for a while. Do some meditation, at least pose like you are doing it for cameras :) Again, don't rush and be careful. Enjoy! PS: You will have to rent a pair of slippers.
Its Good Place but highly crowded. You will not be able to enjoy as it seen over Google. Better to reach early morning at time of gates open. One Good suggestion to don't eat anything at nearby restaurant as they are selling very cheap quality food and tasteless also.
Its already a popular place for hiking, place has its history. Pleasant environment, kind people nearby who are ready to help. Good food available. People usually don't go till the end, you must vist till end there is canteen. Try something to eat over there. Water flowing is pleasant to play with. Try to find a pair of owl 🦉, which are said to be always present welcoming the tourists 😂. Have a safe visit.
Its A fantastic place to visit with a group of fun loving friends. A long cave with full adventrous journey. Water is just flowing under your feet. At evening after sunset it becomes horror as well. Echo inside cave is awesome. Water is just falling from the walls at nearly every part of cave. At some places its gives look of waterfall. One most interesting thing about cave is, its not fully covered. Its a natural cave and generally open in the roof but with very narrow opening. It is used to say that in old time robbers used it to collect and hide their robbed earnings.
