Delamere Forest Park in Delamereis one the of the largest woodland of the country covering an area up to 2400 acres. This woodland comprises of both deciduous and evergreen trees. This area was covered by thick forest and in the 11th century it was converted to woodland. Old pale Hill, which is the highest point in the northern mass of the mild, comes under this woodland. Some of the rare animal species are observed in this woodland. This woodland area at present has become a recreational area. You can either walk inside the woodland or use a cycle for roaming around.
