The Lodi Gardens is a famous recreational park in Delhi, India. It is spread in an area of 90 sections of land measuring to 360,000 square metres. The heritage Garden premises houses the tombs of Mohammed Shah, Sikander Lodi, along with the Sheesh Gumbad and Bara Gumbad. The architectural premises are adorned with the design works of the fifteenth century Sayyid and Lodis, who belonged to the Pashtun line which controlled much of Northern India throughout the era of the sixteenth century. As there had been minimal structural planning from these two periods in India, Lodi Gardens was regarded a critical place for safeguarding. The site is presently secured and preserved by the Archeological Survey of India. The garden premises had been arranged between the extents of the Khan Market and the Safdarjung's Tomb situated on the Lodi Road. The garden is viewed as a wonderful and characteristic recreational reflection of the Mughals. It is also used as a much favoured venue for the morning strolls of the Delhiites.

Lodi Gardens, Delhi Reviews - Write a Review
I was very impressed with this park. Not only is it a free admission and a space that is big enough to run and exercise in, but there are also a host of monuments and ruins contained within its borders. The gardens seem well maintained. The monuments range from ruins to being fairly complete. The park seems to be a favorite of locals, both people looking for a scenic photo shoot and those looking for a moment of romance. One of the best stops if you are doing Delhi on a budget or are looking for something free and different from Red Fort or the other usual attractions.
This place in the middle of Delhi is a wonder. It's a joggers park with lots of greenery and a small pond/lake. Many noted personalities come here for their morning evening walks. You will also find families having a small outdoor picnic, kids playing, people taking their dogs out for a walk, couples enjoying the corners. There is also some exercise equipments also available inside the park.
In the midst of the concrete jungle that Delhi is, Lodhi Gardens are a life saver for Delhi's residents. The lush green, beautiful parks along with the beautiful tombs of the Sultanate era, this place has something to offer for everyone. A perfect place for family or group picnics, playing outdoor games or jogging or just simply idling around; this place, with it's history and nature, magically transcends the madness of the city, as if stuck in a time warp and will help you catch your breath and take control of your mad, super fast life. The Lodhi Gardens are the support system of this heavily polluted city and it won't be wrong if I compare it with the Central Park of New York or London's Hyde Park. It's a must visit for everyone living or stopping by Delhi.
This is a very large garden. Fill with green plants and trees. The way for walking is built here. The trees provide great shade. One of the oldest Garden of India. It has a very large area. It is good for Pokemon go.
Fantastic place, nice scene and beautiful flowers and trees, all of the things were well maintained. Whether you are with your family, friends or alone this place is good for everyone. Highly recommended, you will definitely find peace. All of the thing is free of cost.
