  • Amazing museum Must visit.. helpful staff.. it represents history growth and future of Indian railways in a proper sequence you have option to took a toy train kind train to see ancient steam engine coaches and stations of Indian railways and you might opt for purchasing 50/- ticket and see entire museum on foot (I will recommend that) this is one of the finest museum of India and it must be visited. The display of real coaches and engine/ locomotives will definitely leave you awestruck.. you can also enjoy the quick bite in the cafeteria of museum campus itself and there is sufficient and safe parking also

  • Its a good place if you Keen to know about the history of Indian railways. They've got the models of every equipment they used centuries ago. From enormous engines to the tiniest railway tracks. I was intrigued by all this. They have also got small quizzes which kids love to play with and a nice cafeteria where you can have lunch with your family. Along with this there is a also a concept of "Joy train" in which the provide a small ride within the area of museum itself.

  • The exhibits are decaying from inside! Fresh coat of paint on outer surface is not going to help. Walkways are not defined properly, once you reach interiors of ground, you can't find a walk around. kids' play area is littered with small stones and rusting slide! It can be dangerous! Entry joint is pathetic! You have to use such a high ramp and then steep stairs to reach seating area which is of the size of an office! And they won't serve in the open area at ground level! Visiting with toddlers and elderly is not recommended. The only good thing is indoor gallery which is air conditioned!

  • It was very nice place to visit. There were many locomotives and inside museum the history of trains was mesmerizing. The mixture India model was very well thought and made. There was a toy train too. There was a 3d show where u can experience something very different. The place was good to visit for everyone including elders to kids, even people can use the QR code stick on trains to listen about it's history. Overall experience was just splendid.

  • If you are a rail lover like me, then this place is for you engage with rail history. Also there is a train runs around the museum at a nominal rate avoid to visit during holidays and weekends for the best pics and calm weather. The place is also clean and neat. Many name plates on the rail describing about the history of carriage and locomotive. Nice place and must visit place..
