About Red Fort, Delhi
The Red Fort is a beautiful fort complex that is in many ways symbolic of the splendor of Delhi and its Moughal history. Shah Jahan the Great Moughal emperor gave the fort its present prestigious position when he shifted his capital from Agra to Delhi at the Red fort. Apart from its Mughal history for which this fort is famous for, the Red Fort is of extreme value to Independent India as it hosted the first speech of Independence by Jawahar Lal Nehru here.
The sandstone walls give it its distinctive red color and it its name; the Lal Qilah or Red Fort. But the fort isn’t just one building but a complex of a various sections and palaces that render it a grandeur that isn’t easily paralleled by other historical buildings in India. The buildings are quite grand and striking and the interiors feature very intricate and ornate art work that leaves tourists mesmerized. Although it isn’t in its former glory but the fort is still quite beautiful. The fort stands on the Yamuna River which left it with a perfect strategic location in the old times. Today its location gives it a sense of exquisiteness and makes you forget that a busy city exists right outside. There is also a beautiful music and sound show that is put up every evening. The show is certainly worth a watch or maybe two!

Red Fort, Delhi Reviews
Good Tourists place The Red Fort is one of the most popular monuments in the history of India. It has a big area for the visitors to watch over. Different sections have their own importance. Highlighted. It has also has a museum showcasing various historic parts of the past. Be it uniforms, Spears, swords or old telephonic instruments. A good watch. But a big factor to be considered is the weather. It's an open air place, so if you go on a sunny day make it a point to carry your goggles and cap. Not to forget drinking water. The place is facilitated with public washrooms and drinking water. But please choose a pleasant weather period to visit or else you'll be drenched in sweat.
Nice feeling, good to go during evening or morning. You will fall in love with the small channel built for water supply or may be something else. It decorates the place and gives an awesome feeling. The old monuments really have been made with lots of engineering and are culturally rich. If u are a admirer of old building, sculpture U must plan a visit here. Come with family and friends and enjoy.Have some peaceful time.

Good place to visit but most of the area are refurbishing so you will not be able to cover some of the good architecture. However, the museum does have some decent historical monuments. Overall, it's a nice place to visit and can spend nearly 2 hours approximately. There are some hidden areas where you can see some peacocks. Apart from that you can do some shopping as well which have some decent stuff but price wise it is not that good. Food - Absolutely yes, but just snacks and hot drinks/General cold Liquids.
A great historical place to visit. The view from outside and inside is bit different. There are various shops of jewelry and handicrafts present inside the fort. Very pleasant and green place to get relaxed. There is a museum (Monday closed). Got a "free WiFi available" sign board but didn't find one, all are password protected. There are some shows you can watch, just get the timing. Overall experience was good.
