Saffron Palate, Delhi Reviews

  • Neha, the instructor, was fantastic! She was very charming and knowledgeable. My husband and I took the Eat, Pray, Cherish class as a part of our honeymoon trip. The food was healthy, delicious, and tasted amazing. We were so impressed at the end of the class when we got to enjoy the food. We made what!!! That! No way! It was incredible. I recommend this a million times over. Even if you cannot cook- Neha will show you the way!

  • Wonderful experience! My wife and I were there during our honeymoon and we really loved it. Neha was a wonderful host and teacher. All of our food was delicious and we highly recommend the experience to anyone that has a free day in Delhi to enjoy a nice and entertaining dinner.

  • My friend and I scheduled a cooking class with Neha and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Prior to the class, Neha was very responsive and even changed the menu to add my favorite dal. The location is a bit hard to find by cab, but Uber is easier. Upon arrival, we had some lovely little snacks before heading into the teaching kitchen. Given that it was mid-May, we were worried about the temperature but the kitchen was quite pleasant. The prep work had all been done (chopping and dicing) which gave Neha time to really explain the spices and how they are used. She had a beautiful spice box (which wasn’t quite as neat and nice when we left) and explained everything. She also sells the box and spices, which is nice. We learned how to make dal, butter chicken, fried potatoes, a rice dish, and fresh breads. Everything was excellent! We enjoyed a great meal with Neha, who is very warm and welcoming and feels like you are having lunch with an old friend. I would definitely recommend a class with saffron palatte - I know I’ll be back.

  • I had an amazing experience at Neha's cooking class ;) We were quite a big group (10 people) and she accomodated all our dietary needs. The class takes place on the top floor of her house with a beautiful balcony where we had our meal afterwards. She was super friendly and such a great cooking instructor!! The butter chicken I made myself in class was one of the best butter chicken I had in Delhi ;)

  • Amazing experience and highly recommended. Neha explained all the spices in depth and educated you on the dishes you were going to make. All ingredients were prepped before but allowed for you to easily take her instruction and do the cooking. Highlight was making the various breads. HIGHLY recommended experience!
