Amazing ruins from the 400 BC. The hike up the hill was peaceful and easy. We went in November, which was a little rainy and chilly but we were rewarded with having the hillside to ourselves for most of the morning. I would recommend shoes with grip as there are some inclines with loose dirt. There are some feral cats are the topmost site which would appreciate a treat or two.
Moving experience.want to and will return.the energy is to be experienced. Ware good flat shoes/trainers ground slippy in parts and steep. Wish I had more time there but was on a tour.
Amazing temple with historical value. The hike is quite challenging for elder people. Make sure you come here prepared as the terrain is rocky and rough. In October the sun is still scorching. Wearing summer outfit would be a plus. However, the wind is chill and good for you. Remarkable experience indeed
Temple of Apollo in Delphi is a must see as explained in my other review on Delphi as a whole. Obviously, there isn't much left standing with regards to the temple of Apollo but it's still incredible and standing their using your imagination and knowing just how important this place was and how much it influenced the future, really is something to experience.
Beautiful site with a lot to see. I recommend the visit. The gymnasium is very well preserved though it's quite high and requires to walk all the way on sometimes slippery rocks. It's better to have good shoes
