A beautiful step back in time to rural Jersey. Dating back to 1660, the farm buildings are well preserved and set out over a range of ages right up until 1948 just after the occupation of the Islands during the second world war. Jersey cow-calves, pigs, rabbits and free wondering chickens also inhabit the farmyard. Hamptonne farm has a lovely tearoom, old-fashioned in style. A living history lady helped to give an impression of life on a 1734 farm on Jersey.
The cider festival has to be the best family history even going amazing atmosphere amazingly child friendly an absolute crddit to all involved in the running of it only criticism could of done with a few extra toilets to handle the numbers of the festival
Step back in time, museum, animals, garden, apple crusher and nice café.
Fascinating, well presented view into different layers of Jersey's past. A most welcoming team of staff and volunteers made this a most pleasant experience for my husband and myself.
Brilliant Cider Fest Great local bands in a very historic setting.
