Bierstadt Lagerhaus, Denver Reviews - Write a Review
Full bar + Cidery + Brewery in one. Plus typical brewery food (Modern American). Ciders are good, but nothing top notch. Multiple options of cider are rare in Denver but there are around 7 options here. Brewery is typical. German beers with 2-3 dark beers. Overall, it's a good place to start the night.
If you're looking for authentic German style beers this is the place. These styles typically aren't my first choice, but they're of exceptional quality at this place. Very nice tap room integrated right into the facility. Cool industrial feel. Lots to look at. Service was great. Looking forward to my next visit.
Beer was pretty good and the space was awesome, however the service was horrible and the food was mediocre. To top it off there was trivia going on, which was extremely loud and the host was pretty obscene. Our server was not very pleasant and seemed to be in a rush (even though the place was dead). The popcorn was delicious but the veggie mac and cheese was not very good. It literally had giant stalks of broccoli sticking out of it and not mixed in. The sauce was thick and had broken into clumps. I'll give it a second shot because the beer was good.
This place is unbelievable. Way better than Prost; apparently the brewers came from Prost. I've traveled through Germany and this place competes with the best authentic German beers. They have a great menu and the food also happens to be awesome. Huge open space with lots of games makes a fun time. The same space hosts a hard cider place as well for those that don't want beer; I haven't tried that yet.
Very neat location and they have a parking lot which is a definite plus for being in Denver. Helles was delicious! I had the big ass pretzel, it was a little expensive for $9 but was very good, especially the cheese they serve it with.
