This 25000 square feet event space is nice for a quick stroll. It is located right in the heart of Denver. It's a nice place to visit if you want to check out the architecture of the surrounding buildings - Denver Art Museum, and the Denver Public Library's Central Library, the Colorado State Capitol, the City and County Building of Denver, Wellington E. Webb Municipal Office Building, the Colorado History Museum and the Denver Mint. Inside the park is the Voorhees Memorial, a Greek Amphitheatre, lots of nice pathways and rosy bushes. During Christmas, you should come here to click pictures of the City and County Building, which is lit up in brilliant colors. You should always visit during any of the many festivals and parades.

  • I had an awesome time in Denver for the greater greener conference. The park looks nice for the most part. Not sure if all those works were done because of the conference. I also observed a lot of homeless around the park which is typical for big city. The civic center was very nice, I love the art that are on display upstairs. The garden outside was nicely done but there is potential for better design and maintenance. Overall Denver is a great place to visit I must say a clean city as well. I love you Denver the mile high city.

  • Great historical building. Very beautiful from inside and outside. Easily accessible and to locate. Staff is very helpful too. Must visit place in downtown Denver. You get to see the Senate and House. They have guided tours every hour. Do have to register in advanced though.

  • Civic center park-n-ride has changed tremendously for the good. The only thing that I wish would change is the free mall ride. Needs improvement at night. Especially for the elderly. Few months ago. I seen homeless people harass people waiting for the mall ride. There has to be something that can change this? We can't stop homelessness. But we can try making civic center a safe place to catch the free mall ride with solutions that accommodate people going to their destination. There has to be something.

  • Taste of Colorado in Civic Center Park. Lots of activities, good music, and there is food. The prices are overly crazy and the park is a mess. I guess you can expect the mess with that many people in one place. The quality of food has declined over the years. It used to be an opportunity to sample some of Denver's best restaurants, now it is mostly cheap fair vendors who want to double their regular fair prices. It is still free to get in for some good entertainment.

  • Taste Colorado rocks to get a little carried away on the people that put it on making the money charging $5 for your ATM when they're overcharging for the tickets and getting a percentage of it seems a little stiff. Love the great concerts for free becoming a landmark event. I hope they don't change it to a Music Festival, where they charge for the Concerts.
