This 25000 square feet event space is nice for a quick stroll. It is located right in the heart of Denver. It's a nice place to visit if you want to check out the architecture of the surrounding buildings - Denver Art Museum, and the Denver Public Library's Central Library, the Colorado State Capitol, the City and County Building of Denver, Wellington E. Webb Municipal Office Building, the Colorado History Museum and the Denver Mint. Inside the park is the Voorhees Memorial, a Greek Amphitheatre, lots of nice pathways and rosy bushes. During Christmas, you should come here to click pictures of the City and County Building, which is lit up in brilliant colors. You should always visit during any of the many festivals and parades.

  • Nice park downtown but has lots of homeless people there. Most are okay or mentally ill. Some are violent. The park is fine with large size crowds but keep a close eye on your belongings. A vendor near me had his cellphone stolen by a homeless person.

  • If you're traveling to Colorado from out of state please go check out there parks. I've lived in Arizona and California the majority of my life and can I say Colorado has some of the most beautiful Parks I've ever seen in the world. And I've seen plenty of the world with Savannah Georgia also making the list. Find a local dispensary get a few pre-rolls head to the park and find a quiet tree to relax under that's my recommendation. Oh and that beats GA #420happy

  • Nice community park maintain by the city and county of Denver. They use it for Thursday Food Trucks, huge special events and concerts, they light the adjacent city and county building during holidays. It's too bad that the people who use the park, pick, pull or step on the flowering vegetation.

  • Great place for feeding the squirrels and they love people! Also alot of homeless so if your feeling kind it never hurts to offer up your leftover pizza or pop corn from the movies I have done it alot and always get big thanks and smiles!!! Makes my day to see a smile!

  • Taste of Colorado. Ducked in long enough for some tasty food and drink. Caught the end of a live show and ducked out due to too many people and a hotter than normal afternoon.
