When in Denver, a must visit is the highlight of the Skyline – Golden domed Colorado State Capitol! Originally, it was made of Copper but due to harsh weather, it was decided to give it a makeover and was covered with 200 ounces of gold. Multiple applications of gold leaf was required to give its present shine and regal look!

Don’t forget to take your picture at the steps in front as it is exactly a mile high, thus giving the City its tag – The Mile High City!

With beautiful golden plating adorning the well crafted architecture of the building, Colorado State Capitol is capable to mesmerise anyone on its first sight.
