Copper Mountain is, perhaps, the best place to visit if you wish to go skiing in Colorado. The resort is spread across an area of 2,465 acres of in-bounds terrain under lease from the U.S. Forest Service. The lodging, dining, and entertainment facilities at Copper Mountain are divided into three villages: East Village, The Village at Copper (AKA Center Village), and West Village (formerly Union Creek). Fun activities on the mountains include free mountain tours, tubing hills, snow cat rides and much more. In the village, you could go for ice skating or the kids can have fun in critterland. There’s truly something for everyone here.

  • Copper has to be most underrated jewel of the mountain resorts in Colorado. The staff is superb, views are fantastic and it’s a great place to avoid the hectic travelers other places in summit county.

  • We subleased a condo at the resort last winter for our ski trip. The location was easy to find and was close to shops and restaurants in the area. The bus stop was right out side the condo and it was easy to get the slopes. We are all beginner skiers and kokomo (bunny slope) was great for us. The kids had couple day lessons and on the third day they were on the slope with us. The staff were extremely friendly and they had a few nice restaurants on premises so we didn't have to wonder out too much. I would definitely come back again.

  • One of the easiest ski areas to get around in the world. Great skiing

  • Good place to ski. But... The snow were a little icy and a lot of tress were growing. It’s scrapping my ski badly at the bottom of it. Need more work maintaining the tracks better.

  • Copper is a fun hill, there is no getting around it. The better skiers choose Cooper, at least for a few days.
