Fans of this tap house are convinced this is hands down the best one in the city, perhaps the world. The Technically breweries and tap houses are not nightspots, so it is rare to find one open this late into the night. Their beer list is long, nearly unending. You will be spoilt for choice. Pair this with perfect American appetizers and food menu. Check their website of upcoming events. There are two drinking spots - on the ground floor patio outside the bar, or the tap room upstairs. Chris, one of the staff, has decorated the insides of the tap house with a large bottle collection - 2200 beers that he personally drank. Lovely staff and fun atmosphere.

Falling Rock Tap House Reviews & Ratings

  • A quick stop in on a rainy afternoon led to an evening of delicious beer and food. We tried the Reuben and Chicken sandwich which were unreal. Love the pub ambiance and fun. The service was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend and I will definitely be back.

  • Decent atmosphere and good selection of drinks. I was impressed with the decor. The food was good and tasted good. The waiter was really busy trying to cover more tables than he could handle. All in all... not bad.

  • Here on a Wednesday post-ballgame with the sun shining and the post-work crowd not yet in attendance. While rooftop bars nearby were packed, this institution dedicated to amazing beer was pleasantly uncrowded (but still busy). Not much space for non-eating persons away from the bar but our group managed to have some enjoyable beverages, ranging for Denver breweries to regional, and quite a few Belgian, beers on draft as well. I hadn't been in a decade and nothing has changed, including the breweriana on the walls and the bottles and cans lining shelf after shelf way overhead. A true shrine to beer and a delight to revisit.

  • Gets two stars for the expansive beer collection. But I wouldn't come back. We were sitting in their patio and they wouldn't split checks, gave us a hard time about ordering food and no one came out to serve - you had to go to the bar. We had a good sized group and didn't stay long.

  • Excellent beer variety, great food, and great atmosphere. If you come downtown this is the best tap house you will find. The staff is very friendly and will point you in the direction of the best beer choices based on your taste.
