About Great Divide Brewery, Denver

This brewery debuted with a bang in 1994. Three months after its first batch, it began winning all the beer awards that mattered. Now, it's listed as one of the greatest breweries in the world. Their main taproom is a cozy space, almost always crowded, and that's why most people make do with ordering their beer to go. With sixteen beers on tap, seasonal and year-round, there is a lovely variety for you to explore. Try Yeti, Collette, and Titan. They offer short tours of the brewery on first come, first serve basis. The patio area is pet-friendly.

  • If it's game day (Rockies) be ready for a packed house! Their beer is good - solid and well rounded samplings. I'd say crafted well. The bar top does not accommodate that many patrons but there is a separate sitting area with four-toppers and tables. Nothing out of the ordinary with the theme here and the ambience and atmosphere is typical of a tap room. Staff was average and nothing to boast about.

  • Great Divide offers a large diversity of tasty brews to choose from. The bartenders are kind and knowledgeable, there is often 90s hip hop playing in the background, and the food trucks outside are delicious! The taproom is very crowded and loud at peak times.

  • Great tour.. mad my day saying they export their beers to Nepal. Excellent service by the bartenders.

  • The beers were inoffensive, but being here for Great American Beer Festival Weekend, their offerings just didn't stand up.

  • Great beer, but bartender today was very rude (brunette woman). We stopped by on our way out of town, as my husband is a home brewer & we like to check out the local breweries whenever we are visiting a new place. The bartender seemed annoyed when I wanted to try one of their beers & just overall wasn't friendly. Not the person I would want as a face for my business. I would not come back next time we are in town, or try another location.
