There are no permanent exhibits at this contemporary art museum. Special exhibits stick around for three or four months and then are replaced. They are always terrific. But the museum likes being quirky. For example, they will combine some exhibits with small meals that complement the theme. On Thursday there are intimate music concerts on the rooftop. On Friday some of the city's best bartenders are invited to mix drinks for patrons while some of the best underground DJs do their thing. And the museum keeps getting inventive to make sure their audience keeps coming back. Definitely subscribe to their newsletter.

  • Please go here! Such a great afternoon! If you’re a Denver resident, you can get a free pass for 2 from the library! They have 3 floors worth of artwork, plus a beautiful patio. I really recommend going here!

  • I have been here when there were some really cool art displays. The major one going on now is more of a historical recount of an American family from the early 1900's. Pretty boring and not really art to me. It would be better off in a different place....I'm kind of sad that it has a longer display time of 6 months compared to the average of 3 months. I believe they'd be better off having visitors vote on the art or have some sort of survey discussing the art before leaving. That way, the rotation of art is displayed at a more appropriate period of time. Just an opinion. The upper level is always a nice insight on local youth's reality and perception of art. I believe it is the best display usually.

  • Pretty decent museum, but it is on the smaller side of things with only 4 floors of galleries (about 3 to 5 rooms per floor). During my visit the basement was closed and each floor hosted it's own exhibit so there wasn't a ton of variety at the time. Still very interesting and the architecture of the building is unique. Do check out the top floor on a good day as it is a roof top cafe with some decent views and nice mixed used to show off the materials that the building is made of!

  • Super great! Came in and it was penny day which was a pleasant surprise! Exhibits were thought provoking and well organized.

  • Great museum in downtown Denver! The architecture is cool, and they have rotating exhibits. The exhibit I went to was very fascinating. They also have a library of art, where you can enter to win a piece of art and borrow it for a bit. Interesting program!
