Designed in French Gothic style, it is the cathedral of the Archdiocese of Denver of the Roman Catholic Church and is one of the few cathedrals to be honoured as “Minor Basilica”. The stained glass windows are mesmerizing and photographer’s delight!

It hosts three daily masses and six masses on Sunday and serves the community by providing lunches to the poor.

  • This Cathedral was gorgeous. I didn't actually go inside but I sat outside it for about an hour in awe of the excellent architecture. What a lovely view. I'm writing this review based solely on the external aesthetics, which were absolutely lovely. I recommend for this alone. But upon now seeing the internal pics now, I see this place is just a wonder all around.

  • Beautiful, French Gothic construction Cathedral Basilica in the heart of downtown Denver. Three daily masses (four on Sunday) and open hours. Tourists and photography welcome. Vintage, international-standard pipe organ, and the most leaded, stained glass than any church on the U.S. Beautiful place to visit or worship. Roman rite. Resting place of Servant of God Julia Greeley.

  • Beautiful church. Nice architecture. Free to visit. Lots of history behind it. Just a short walk from the Molly Brown house.

  • Came here for a wedding and was absolutely blown away by how beautiful everything was! Sure, the location in Denver is a bit odd, but regardless the building itself is breathtaking! The stained glass is intricately detailed and the music was divine. Everything seemed to come together quite nicely!

  • I was baptized there almost 50 years ago & it is SO BEAUTIFUL inside & out. Feels VERY HOLY & LOVE THAT THE ARCHBISHOP DOES THE MASSES THERE. 😇🙏💛💝💖😊😍
