Back in the day, when it was completed in 1910, this building used to be a big deal. It was modelled on St. Mark’s Bell Tower in Venice, was the tallest building west of the Mississippi, and was created to house a department store. Also, check out the four huge clock faces 16 feet tall. Now, the top of the clocktower is a popular event space, especially for weddings and parties and exhibitions. Not only is it stylish and charmingly old-world, but the view is gorgeous. The other secret is in the basement, where Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret sets dinnertime on fire. Opulent interior decoration meet nightclub burlesque sensibilities in an explosion of sound and music and color and taste.. The tower is not otherwise open to visitors though, unless you are part of the Larimer Square Walking tour.

The d&f tower is a treasured denver landmark, it has been around for a long time. It makes for a beautiful addition the the 16th street mall, and tells the time! But in all seriousness, if you are lucky enough to go up to the top, or anywhere in it, it is an amazing experience. The history behind the building makes it all the better!
I highly recommend seeking out a tour of the inside, super cool building with pretty interesting history.
Wonderful time for Halloween. I would give it more stars, but I hardly ever do five stars
It was my first time in the Clocktower Cabaret and it was an exciting experience as I got to watch the end of an awesome Jazz show. Friendly staff and great venue locale!!! I will most definitely return!😁
Filled with history. The Cabaret was great. Resembled oldtime speak easy. Good food reasonably priced.
