This is going to be one of those Denver hidden gems you can't wait to tell your friends about. There is literally no one whose jaw doesn't drop at the sheer treasure trove of maps inside. You know all those ugly primary or pastel colored maps with blocky borders? You will not find them here. This space is more for the Treasure Island type of maps - world maps,, human population maps, historic maps, celestial maps - made by old explorers and city charters. Some of these date back to the 16th century. And the best part? You can purchase them.

The Old Map Gallery Reviews & Ratings
Very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and quick guys. i recommend them.
Two years ago we got off the Train on our way to California and decided to explore the Union Station area of Denver. My 10 year old son and future cartographer had to go in. He was amazed buy the collection. The owner talked to him and was so encouraging. He gave my son a map of early Frontier America. Fast forward Two years the now 12 year old has made the state finals in the National Geographic GeoBee. Thank you for encouraging our son. The map is a prized possession.
Fascinating place to stroll through some very interesting maps.
No place to park when I did finally get a hold of the owners he was rude and they said weekend to beat wear clothes and then they said the sign said they was open they are dated me wasn't Cooperative it all they're they are not helpful I had some old maps that I was going to have him look at and see what days were stand he wouldn't even talk that's all
This place was the greatest store I visit in Denver and possibly ever. The staff is very friendly and super helpful, willing to go above and beyond to find what you are looking for. The collection is vast, that anyone that has any interest in any era and any area will find something they are looking for. I can not overstate how wonderful this place was and I only wish I could of stayed long in order to completely look at the collection. Do yourself a favor and visit this store if you are ever even near Denver.
