Styling themselves as 'only local full service boutique winery and tasting room', the Tuscan-themed winery does indeed deliver big when it comes to atmosphere. Located inside a lovely more than 100 years old building. Their wines cover reds, whites and fruits, all of which are developed from ingredients grown in the Colorado Mountains. Some non traditional ingredients may be included. Apparently the wine tastes like the land feels, whatever that means. It's a nice spot for date. They have live music on Fridays and Saturdays. It is run by Charlene and Ross Meriwether.

Wild Women Wine Reviews & Ratings
Great friendly service, wonderful staff. Super fun variety of different gifts and merchandise. Affordable wine prices. The people and ambience gets 5 stars. And they have a great location. Other than that, if you actually care about how the wine tastes... it's awful!! Anyone who loves this place must not be picky about taste at all!!! Every single wine I tried was underage by a year, tasted way too young. All the reds were heavy on the oak chips. Even the varieties that don't ever get oaked, are oak chips. Not barrels, that tastes different. Wine quality was worse than boxed...I didn't even want to finish my glass. But ya know, most people can't taste the difference fortunately??
We have known Charlene and Ross for years and years we buy our wine there because it’s fun delightful and enjoyable to visit them each time we go.
We came specifically for the big girl boldera, but at 9:45pm were told we could not stay because they closed at 10:00 pm. This is downtown Denver, really?!? They informed us that they would not serve us so we left. Keep in mind they are right off 16th St mall and it was Saturday night. Then, when I called to tell them I was not satisfied with the service, I was told that since I did not announce that I was going to buy a bottle they kicked me out. I will be be sure to steer my wine tasting friends away due to service. I don't care how good their wine is, will never go back due to service.
The Wild Women Winery was very nice to visit. We went for a wine tasting on a Wednesday afternoon and enjoyed what we tried. The environment is very clean and comfortable. The decor is finished in a Tuscan style with options for low chairs instead of tall stools. Charlene took care of us and was great to talk to. I look forward to visiting again.
Great winery in downtown Denver! They have a great wines and a beautiful tasting room. Loved it!
