  • We've been there 3 years in a row now, always wonderful!!! Bathrooms are clean, everyone is nice. Bit of a walk to the beach, but it's a beautiful walk, and totally worth it! The beach area is only for campers and there are never too many people there! You always have your own area and are not on top of each other like at the condos. We love Henderson Beach State Park!!!!

  • Great place to stay. Sort of a walk to the beach, but it is close enough. Just across a non busy street. We had issues with our condo that we were supposed to stay in. They were brand new and not quite finished even though we were told they would be ready when we got there. So we ended up having to stay in the hotel after a miserable, dusty night in the condos at the Henderson.

  • Love the spacious lots . Love the beach. Quiet and relaxing. We will definitely come here again. We stayed in the RV area. Hook up to water and electricity, and we had 50 amp service. You have to go to a dump station if you need to dump. Overall it was great. There are bath and wash houses. The one we had was air conditioned. Plenty of hot water. Down side only two showers, but I only had to wait one time on shower and not long. Very nice facilities. I will definitely come here again. Beach was beautiful!

  • Not quite as secluded as some of the posts suggest, but still an absolutely beautiful park. We went in November. Take the sand dunes hike. It's short with unique natural beauty

  • Gorgeous beach, very clean! Clear water for days! Not crowded at all, in fact on this day we were one of the first people there. Snorkeling here was great, lots of sea life! They also have lovely covered shelters with picnic tables and outside grills if you want to have a meal. The showers were our saving grace, or else our car would have been super sandy. Something I wish someone had told me... don't over pack for your day. Less is more and trust me you don't want to pack a bunch of stuff back to the car after the sand and sun.
