Filialni kostel sv. Matouse is a Roman Catholic Church which on this day has been protected as Czech Republic’s cultural monument. The very first mention of this beautiful wooden Church dates back to 1636 while the present Church is said to have been built somewhere between 1737 and 1741. However, it was burnt down in 1833 and then in 1835, it was restored. There’s also a half-buried cemetery in the Church while a simple wooden cross adorns the altar. Filialni kostel sv. Matouse's interior lightens up when the sun penetrates through the open doors making it seem like a magical place.
