Gm Renaissance Center Reviews & Ratings

  • This is a great place to take out of town guests, especially those with kids. There is an abundance of food available in the Food court or you can bring a picnic and eat on the steps facing the Detroit River. Granite City has a huge patio overlooking Jefferson Ave.GM World in the center displays a bunch of cars and technology. If you're a car enthusiast, you'll love it.The River Walk is right outside with the fountains for the kids to cool off in. Bring a towel and a book.

  • The Gm Renaissance center is awesome. They have many models of cars on display, Chevrolet, Cadillac, Buick etc. They also have a full size Lego truck. And the Hot wheels edition Camaro. There's also many shops, such as The General Motors merchandise store. Highly recommended place to visit.

  • Everytime I visit Detroit I have to stumble here. It's just an iconic part of the city. You can walk around and explore on your own. It's always nice to see the vintage cars on display as well as the upcoming new vehicles General Motors has to offer.

  • It's kind of hard to get around except... this place is round! Anyways, there are tons of escalators so if you love them, this is place to elevate your experiences to a new level. After a few days of leg work you will know how to get around the place without doing too many redundant laps.

  • This place is in the core of the city on the edge of bridge to canada. I went there to see all the special edition cars that GM has and masterpieces. Also they have represented the technology that they use in the sports cars. They have many cars to click a picture with. I really like the Chevy truck that they have made out of mine craft blocks. Tip: Best place to hop on to the People carrier and have a visit of the city and downtown.

  • I work at a University and have our Jazz Band on tour in the Detroit area. We wonder if there are any performances spaces in the Ren Cen available to a group like ours? The dates we are in Detroit are April 10-13th.
