The Lincoln Street Art Park is a contemporary sculptural park that has been constructed on a former industrial site that was abandoned. This park is a hidden art gem and is growing community collaboration between the recreation department of Detroit, the council for arts and cultural affairs and the local artists. Visiting the Lincoln Street Art Park is like walking into an artists’ rugged studio that is complete with a small library, a seating area and a pet. The only difference in this case is that the house pet is a giant dinosaur. You would also get to learn about the process of accepting recyclable materials and how they are reused.

  • The Full Moon parties are something you should not miss. Although it's just as interesting in the daytime with all of the art and sculptures in the park. It's a littlw off pf the beaten path so don't miss it!

  • Loved this park! I traveled from Ohio just to come out. I do hope they keep the awesome vibes up here :). Also... Iā€™m dying to just be inside that sphere at night!

  • Picked the perfect day to explore the area. Very creative pieces with meaningful messages. Loved the Dear Dad letter šŸ™šŸ¼ all the memorial art will have loved ones living forever. Special shoutout to all the creative minds that contributed to the walls, tires, and train tracks. I recommend taking someone along and getting lost walking through everything.šŸ‘ŒšŸ½
