The Redford Theater was inaugurated on 27th January 1928 and since then has been a great entertainment venue. It is a part of the Motor City Theatre Organ Society. It seats a total of 1571 people and was designed by architects Ralph F. Shreive, Verner, Wilheim, and Molby. They represent the Exotic Revival style along with Japanese motifs. What makes the theatre more interesting is being listed under National Register of Historic Places. The Detroit Chapter of American Institutes of Architects has also honored it as one of the ten best interiors.
