Hpca Stadium, Dharamshala Reviews

  • A small but energetic cricket stadium amid clouds. Very nice place, especially for cricket lovers. Fortunately, we got to see from within and we could even go to the pitch. It has got a beautiful scenic beauty/view. The best part was players' dining are a which has got collage of many of the legendary players. Apart from the stands/seats, it has got special rooms to watch the match. We could even see the net practice area. Worth visiting once.

  • Dharmasala cricket stadium is a nice place. It's big and spacious. Being located on a hill station the environment and locality is quite pleasant and peaceful. The stadium has 2-3 entrances and had a good park at entrance which is good and neatly maintained. The entrance holds flexes and hoardings about the history of the stadium, the matches played in it and also the historic matches played in it. The seating color coding is good and a pleasure to the eye. The stadium is well built and the VIP box is very awesome. The stadium can be seen well from the nearby hills which is good. But to my bad luck there is no match running when I went there but I hope I'll see a live match there in the near future.

  • This is the first stadium in India located on hill station with beautiful natural views around and fresh air. Temperature is very moderate and cricketers would love this place a lot. Comparatively, this ground is quite smaller than other stadium. But it's beauty speaks for itself.

  • Great view you can get from the stadium. Jan to march is the best month to visit these stadium I guess. But the climate vary and is not constant so the visit month depends. But the stadium is large and viewing a cricket match there live will be an awesome experience undoubtedly.

  • The stadium is open to general visitors for free. It can be approached from Gate no 2. There is no organized car parking. One has to park on roadside and walk for about 400 m to reach the gate no 2. Visitors can access one of the stands and have great clicks. It gives a nice view of the stadium as well as dhauladhars in the background. The place appears unclean on a normal day. The administration may charge a nominal fee of Rs 5 per visitor and spend the money in keeping the place clean.
