Hpca Stadium - Review

The Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association’s cricket stadium is set against the backdrop of snow clad mountains and lush green forests. The architecture of the stadium itself is colourful and elaborate. Head over to catch a game in action. If no game is scheduled, you can still check out the stadium. Even when there is no cricket match being played, one section of the stadium is kept open for tourists. Trivia- The HPCA Stadium is the 2nd highest stadium in the world.

  • Stunning Stadium! At an elevation of 4,110 ft, the HPCA Is the most picturesque sport’s stadiums I’ve ever been to. It’s a small ground compared to other cricket stadiums and beautifully maintained. There is a small entry fee to visit during non sporting events. I guess this will help with the maintenance and upkeep of the stadium. Definitely a must visit if you’re in Dharamshala!

  • Dharmasala cricket stadium is a nice place. It's big and spacious. Being located on a hill station the environment and locality is quite pleasant and peaceful. The stadium has 2-3 entrances and had a good park at entrance which is good and neatly maintained. The entrance holds flexes and hoardings about the history of the stadium, the matches played in it and also the historic matches played in it. The seating color coding is good and a pleasure to the eye. The stadium is well built and the VIP box is very awesome. The stadium can be seen well from the nearby hills which is good. But to my bad luck there is no match running when I went there but I hope I'll see a live match there in the near future.

  • It was well planned cricket stadium in the Dharamshala Himachal Pradesh. Ground on top of the hill. Ground is small but it was used for international cricket match. Sitting arrangement is very well you can see the match very nicely and neatly. Overall stadium is very nice.

  • HPCA Cricket Stadium is much more than a cricket stadium. It's a tourist destination. I haven't had the privilege to watch a live cricket match here but I visited the stadium during our tour to Dharamsala-Mcleod. This is stadium is probably the most beautiful stadium in the world. Snowy mountains in the backdrop provide the soul to the stadium. It's a great place to visit for anyone who is in for watching live cricket or for those who are just visiting this ground for the purpose of tourism.

  • The stadium is very small. Not maintained well. But looks very nice. The scenery outside the stadium is soothing to eyes. It's open to public to visit even when there is no match with a entry fee of ₹20! One can easily spend half 20-30 mins in the stadium, eat snacks outside and continue with your journey!
