Kareri Lake, Dharamshala Reviews

  • Very beautiful place. No jeepable road. Good place for hiking. No population. No electricity. Best time to visit is from September to November. During winters lake will be frozen covered by snow. One must hire local guide to visit the place. Not advisable to visit during winters and alone. No shops are available. Covered by the forest. The trail is bit difficult.

  • This is an awesome place because of the beautiful shots we captured. More over you will feel refreshed after visiting this place.

  • lake was frozen. awesome trek for beginners, only 13km up from kareri village

  • 13 KMS from Kareri village, safe but complete uphill walk. I did it in December, the weather is chilly and the lake was frozen. More than the lake the road to the lake is exciting and filled with energy upside. We left at 2pm camped at 5 45 after an uphill trek for 7.5 KMS. The next day we started at 7 30, went to the lake and came all the way downhill by 5pm

  • I love this place and stay here life time...
