Marine Aquarium And Research Centre, Digha Reviews
Its one of the best places I have ever visited in my life. I recommend this place for those who love to watch species that lives in deep ocean. I must say that this place holds a vast collection of versatile creatures of ocean. Moreover you will find a huge skeleton of a shark. If you go to Digha, you should go there.
This is also a must visit place and the major attraction for Digha tourists. MARC has the largest inbuilt aquarium in India. There are various species of lobster, butterfly fishes, sharks, horse shoe crab, sea snakes and many other uncommon creatures can be seen. Tourists enjoy the world under the water with a beautiful ambiance. Children get more attracted to this place.
Maintained by Zoological survey of India. No entry fee. Open from 10am to 6pm. Photography is strictly prohibited. A good number of marine and fresh water fish ,crab ,eel can be studied here. Good info is there. Some fossil of marine life can also be studied here.
Excellent place. Wonderful experience. Good collection- especially the skull of the whale caught at Digha beach in 2012.
This place is very good for hangout and educational visit...but the behavior of the stuff of this place is not so good...they have no politeness....I'm local resident of digha...I know everyone in this place....overall...no doubt god place....😊😊😊
