After the Berkley resident Ron Medeiros decided to make a difference, and use the Sheehan Family Fund for development of a barren land into a state park, the Sweets Knoll State Park was established. It is a lovely park for nature lovers and everybody who enjoys the arms of nature can come and spend time here. The walking trails and the abundance of trees are worth witnessing and it is a great place to have a picnic as well. You can enjoy some quiet time with your family and simply have a fun day here.

  • Nice walk, a bit small compared to other sites in the area but worth a wander

  • Beautiful and quiet place to take a nice walk.

  • Ticks live here, but also bald eagels

  • If this is a state park, then why oh why is there no trash can anywhere in which you can dump bags of dog poo? Some dog owners never pick up after their dogs because they don't want to bring their dog's poo back home!

  • Small parking lot, but beautiful space.
