Ins Khukri Memorial, Diu Reviews

  • The location of this memorial is amazing. You can spend hours here if you like the sea and it's waves. A miniature of the warship INS Khukri is kept in a glass cabin, not that clearly visible from outside. The plaque over here is informative and has the names of all who died along with the ship. The seating areas nearby is also beautiful. A must visit place in Diu.

  • Nice place by the sea, tribute to Indian naval ship Khukri. Well designed with loads of creative seashell shaped structures. Plenty of good opportunities for sea views and sunset. Only con is the lack of cleanliness as people throw rubbish despite dustbins close by. Important tip, ideally travel with your own car or bike. If you take an auto, all him to take you back as well. There are no public vehicles or autos here. Overall great place for the whole family.

  • Don't miss out on this place! For history lovers you already know why this place is special, for nature lovers you can view the photographs, for social media fanatics photographs will give you a reason to visit. This place is sublime with beautiful views and a deep deep respect comes for all Indian Navy personnel.

  • One of the cleanest place in Diu. Must visit if you're there. Beach is there which is clean as compared to Nagoa beach. We visited this place at evening which was the plus point, view was amazing. You can get many places for perfect pictures. Few of the food stall are outside the memorial. Great place

  • A good place for great views and relaxation. Can spend half an hour here as a break. This place is a memorial and known for an Indian navy ship sunk in mid sea war with Pakistan. All the martyr names are mentioned on the memorial stone with the background of events and a dummy ship model is also placed. If you go in hot afternoon, one can take refuge in shade inside dome sitting area. I enjoyed sitting out and watching the sea down instead.
