The Mount Tipton Wilderness Area covers an area of 30, 760 acres and encompasses the whole northern half of the magnificent Cerbat Mountains. The Mount Tipton Peak standing tall at a height of 7, 148 feet dominates the wilderness area but, the main attraction is the Cerbat Pinnacles. The Pinnacles are huge tusk-like rows of spires that are maroon in colour and stand majestically above the valleys. Besides the beautiful hiking trails at the time of seasonal good weather, the wild mustang horses are another major attraction of the Mount Tipton Wilderness Area. There are opportunities available for hiking, horseback riding, backpacking, photography and more while from the top of Mount Tipton, you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding.
