Dolores River Campground And Cabins Reviews & Ratings
We've stayed here twice, pretty good experience all the way around. The only thing that I would like are some vistas...but it's not ugly by any stretch of the imagination. Great gift shop, lots of fishing space and fun camp activities on different nights.
Lovely campground in a very convenient location. Easy to get into it. The spaces were HUGE (we had a pull through). The service here was EXCELLENT! The staff was amazingly hospitable and friendly. We needed to have a large number of packages delivered during our 4 night stay, and every single package was received with a smile (and delivered when necessary). (THANK YOU! We really cannot thank you enough for that help) The restrooms were spotless. Showers were spacious with great water pressure & hot water. The play area and common areas were very well maintained. Nice amenities (dock, fishing pond, dog walking trail out of the back next to the river). Book early to get a space along the fishing pond -- the sunset views are really the best.
We really liked this place and will gladly come back. We are still here and happiy finishing our 3 week stay. The staff is great and the facilities are spotless. Good walking paths and a nice little bike path for the kids. The only reason we don't give it 5 stars is that our beautiful site was also subject to amazing amounts of seasonal tree sap. Luckily, that sap comes off with water and washing but it did get pretty much everywhere.
Very clean, quiet and beautiful place!a hidden gem nestled in the beautiful San Juan mountains
Lots of sites to see in the area. Great area for off -roading about 20 minutes away. Plenty to do at the campground with outdoor games and games in the rec room. Playground for the kids. Pond fishing that requires no license. Showers and restrooms are immaculate with plenty of hot water.
