Leamaneh Castle is the imposing ruin of a 17th century mansion and a 15th century tower house. Alternatively referred to as the Leamanagh Castle and built in around 1480, it was a 5-storey tower house originally the fortified homes consisting of castellated features were well-known with Norman Gentry during the middle ages. Today only the outer walls remain. The Leamaneh Castle cannot be seen from the inside but you can, of course, observe it from the outside, admire the detailed stonework, the multi-pane window surrounds and click pictures.
