La Terraza - Review
Heady aromas of sumptuous dishes will lure you in, and rich, exotic dishes, cooked to perfection just for the pleasure of your tastebuds will keep you coming back for more! Welcome to the paradise of the palate that is La Terraza.
Puerto Rican cuisine, locally called cocina criolla, is a tasty blend of elements, from the spicy chillies of the Taino cuisine, the beef and pork of European cuisine, and ingredients from Africa, South America and North America. It is this beautiful balance of flavour and texture from so many parts of the world that makes Puerto Rican cuisine so delectable and mouth watering! La Terazza is the best place in Dorado for whoever wants to indulge in the truly flavourful local cuisine.
Jungle inspired decor spans the entire restaurant, making you feel like you’re perched upon the trees no matter what level you sit on. With the restaurants proximity to the sea, you’ll have the soothing sounds of the shore adding to the restaurants natural ambience. As you peer over the menu, the flavours specific to Puerto Rico will leap up at you, their scents mingling in the air as the other diners are served their meals. The meal will start with a plate of complimentary tortilla chips, warm and crunchy, with hummus. You can choose from an array of fantastic appetizers, such as the Shrimp Mofongo, Ceviche Octopus and the main course menu is even wider, and even more tantalizing. Juicy steaks and all kinds of Caribbean delights await you! Desert will also be a fun fare, with ice creams and fruit to end a perfect, lavish meal. You can lay back, content, and while away the rest of the evening with a pina colada in hand. Dorado has plenty of great restaurants but La Terazza, with its top chefs, comfy and fun decor and tempting menu is definitely the finest dining experience in the city.

La Terraza, Dorado Reviews
The Ambiance is fun and low key. I give it 5 stars because I know what to expect from this place, don't expect fast service or staff to cater to your every need. This place is a nice dive with good food and a great atmosphere.
The place has outdoor shaded seating as you'd expect by the name. The seafood mofongo was the best. We also had the fried calamari. The breading had a good amount of seasoning but it was too thick or the calamari was too thin. The white sangria was more like a sweet punch than true sangria but it was still ok. Overall a good meal with room for improvement.
Good food and service, needs some music or entertaining for such a beautiful setting
Beautiful venue, polite staff, food quantity was good but I feel the quality was a little lower than I'd prefer for the price. Nice view of sunset and there are photogenic anols around it you like those. There were a few mosquitos on the lower outside seats but not enough to be much of a bother if you have light bug spray. Got hair in my food which was no fun but the staff politely apologized and made the dish free.
Good food, especially the fish. Open space (you do not need air-conditioning - all natural sea breeze). Try the second floor, if it's too windy go to the ground floor.
