Dedicated to the Japanese city of Hiroshima (which was the first ever victim of atomic bombs) where more than 200,000 people died, the Platz von Hiroshima was built in 2000. The statue “"Mother Hiroshima" created by Anslem Tree takes the spotlight at the square.
Tourists love the place for the number of shops available here. The Catholic Parish of St. Johannes Baptist is located nearby along with other historical places and with restaurants and cafes swarming the place, this place has become a favoured evening spot to unwind over some good food, some retail therapy or simply to have the downtown experience when in the city.
