The Zec Petawaga is a controlled harvesting zone which covers an area of 1, 186 square kilometres and was created in the year 1978. It remains bounded in the west and the south by a wildlife reserve, on the east by the Baskatong reservoir and on the north by a free territory that leads to Clova. Here, you would easily be able to observe a variety of species including fox, bear, beaver, white-tailed deer, moose and more. Cougar which is a vulnerable and threatened species can also be seen here. Beautiful waterfalls, rapids, spellbinding sunsets and escarpments are some of the natural wonders at Zec Petawaga that would enthrall you with its beauty.
