Many tour companies arrange half day, 1 day and 2 day tours to the Big Red. Depending on your tour package, you can also get to experience henna-painting and camel-riding along with dune bashing and belly dancing. If you are lucky, you may even spot a desert fox, a snake or a scorpion.

• Dune bashing can get extreme. Not advisable for heart patients and pregnant ladies.
• If you want to drive the 4x4 vehicle on your own, UAE driving licence is required.

• Depending on which tour operator you book, Big Red tours can cost AED 165 onwards per person.
• If not going with tour, 4x4 vehicle rentals for dune bashing will cost you approximately AED 500.

• Nearest bus stop is the Hatta bus stop. 

• Food is available at the mock-Bedouin camps.
