The Bull Island is a dune-covered and low-lying sand spit situated in the Dublin Bay off the north side of the coast of the city. It is a National Nature Reserve and is a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts and birdwatchers. The island was created 200 years ago and since then, it has continued to grow towards the sea. Its habitats consist of dunes, beaches, grassland, mud flats as well as marsh. If birdwatching isn’t your cup of tea, you could choose to enjoy a stroll along the beach or perhaps go jogging. Bull Island is serene and tranquil and is often frequented by nature lovers.
