If you're looking to learn more about famous people from Ireland and others from around the world then stop by The National Wax Museum Plus. The wax figures are very lifelike and they have plenty of them - 4 floors! The bar and the basement were my favorite areas. There are restrooms in the basement and a service elevator to get you to each floor except the bar. The bar has a smaller elevator, so you won't miss anything! Bring your camera and some props because you'll want to look great standing next to your friends and foes. Have fun!
Came here with my four year old. Nice experience. Good history mixed with fun. Traditional tunnels from original wax museum have made a comeback! The magical garden is great and works well in the black light. The chamber of horrors is not child friendly but you have the option to not visit. My favourite area was Gotham city and the Irish writers room just after having tea with Fr Ted. Nice way to spend a few hours. Well done.
Great rainy day backup plan in central Dublin. Take your time and relax and enjoy the simple pleasures and humour available in every section. It may not be the most sophisticated way to pass a couple of hours, but if you have kids (or, like us, are capable of letting your inner kid out to play for a bit) it's good clean (dry) fun.
In all fairness i never expected this to be as good as it was! Everything from the entrance to the exit was fantastic! It was bigger than than what i thought and my mum and aunt particularly enjoyed the mirror maze it was very funny! I loved the mrs brown wax making in the wooden toilet at the end 😂 it was hilarious
Brilliant! Well worth a visit. Some great wax works and more. Science section at the front. Wax works of famous Irish people. Famous non Irish people too! Great kids area with superheroes and peppa pig. The spooky bit really is quite scary! Fantastic visit. Great fun.
